Independent Research

A path toward a safer, more sustainable future.

The ZSMC Co. is an independent research initiative focused on scientific investigation, technical development, and experimental validation across emerging technologies and engineering disciplines.

What we do

Research guided by experimentation, validation, rigourous mathematics, not assumptions.

The ZSMC Co. investigates scientific and engineering challenges through a process of design, prototyping, testing, and analysis. Current areas of interest include electrochemical energy storage, materials science, computational systems, applied artificial intelligence, and emerging engineering technologies.

Projects are developed through iterative experimentation and technical evaluation, with an emphasis on understanding underlying mechanisms, identifying practical limitations, and exploring pathways toward real-world implementation. Research findings, technical documentation, and project updates are shared publicly whenever appropriate to encourage transparency, discussion, and continued learning.

We know things fail. We expect them to fail. The job is figuring out why.

One system, at least a hundred stability problems. Optimistically.

01

Observe

Identify unanswered questions, technical challenges and phenomena. Take a crack at everything no matter the size or discipline.

02

Bite sized portions

Break down the problem into manageable parts. Think them through one by one.

03

Brainstorm

Think wild. Forget real-world constraints as long as they dont have a problem with science and mathematics.

04

Break it

Break the system. Do your best, and find every flaw. small or big.

05

Refine

Refine the system. Make it better, stronger, and more robust. Iterate until you have a working solution.

06

Validate

Validate the system. Remeber to patent, and test it in the real world, and make sure it works as intended. Contact us if you want help finding funding!

Philosophy

Practical research needs honest constraints.

Engineering before spectacle

Claims are framed around mechanisms, modeled limits, and validation needs rather than broad replacement narratives.

Safety as architecture

The research starts from containment, failure pathways, and abuse tolerance as design variables, not afterthoughts.

Validation over polish

The next meaningful progress is experimental: reproducible cells, SEM/EIS testing, discharge data, and transparent iteration.
